Подобно до предыдущих годов, Телерадиокомпания Боснии (BHRT) выбрала конкурсанта в результате внутреннего отбора. В этом году страну будет представлять Діно Мерлін (Dino Merlin), который исполнит спокойную, мелодичную песню на английском языке "Love in Rewind". На сцене выступление певца будут довершать группа музыкантов и артисты цирка.

Діно Мерлін (Dino Merlin) – достаточно знаменитый певец и автор песен не только в Боснии и Герцеговине, но и за ее пределами. Его песни имеют своих поклонников в Сербии, Хорватии, Черногории, Македонии, Словении и Турции. На данном этапе у певца много идей по поводу аранжировки конкурсной песни и музыкального номера на сцене. Он рьяно берется за работу и внедряет свои идеи в жизнь, так как ему выпала ответственная миссия представлять страну на конкурсе.

Діно Мерлін (Dino Merlin) вместе с Беатріс (Beatrice) уже представлял страну на "Евровидении 1999" в Израиле. Босния и Герцеговина тогда оказалась на 7 месте.

В прошлом году страну представлял Vukašin Brajić с песней "Thunder And Lightning", который занял 17 место в финале.

В Дюссельдорфе Діно Мерлін (Dino Merlin) с песней "Love in Rewind" будет соревноваться во 2 полуфинале, который состоится 12 мая 2011 года.

Born on September 12th 1962 in Sarajevo, Dino Merlin is the most famous songwriters from Bosnia & Herzegovina and one of the most popular music artists in the Balkans.

He has released ten studio albums (5 with the band Merlin and 5 solo albums) as well as several greatest hits collections and live concert recordings.

In 2000, Dino performed at Kosevo Olympic Stadium in Sarajevo in front of 80,000 spectators as part of the tour supporting his album Sredinom, which was one of the biggest-selling albums in Southeastern Europe in the last decade.

Dino is no stranger to Eurovision, having composed Bosnia & Herzegovina's first ever Eurovision entry back in 1993, and then also having entered the competition himself in 1999 with his song Putnici (he finished 7th - Bosnia & Herzegovina's second-best Eurovision result ever).

Perhaps his greatest achivement though is to have composed the first ever National Anthem for the newly-created nation of Bosnia & Herzegovina.
